Synopsis
An area of low pressure in the northeast Gulf of Mexico will track northeast toward the eastern Florida Panhandle tonight. High pressure will then rebuild over the central Gulf Coast region over the weekend and prevail into the beginning of next week.

North winds 15 to 20 knots becoming northwest 10 to 15 knots late in the afternoon. Seas 4 to 6 feet subsiding to 3 to 4 feet in the afternoon.
