Monday
North winds 15 to 25 knots becoming 15 to 20 knots in the afternoon. Seas 5 to 7 feet subsiding to 3 to 5 feet in the afternoon.

Northeast winds 10 to 15 knots. Seas 2 to 3 feet.

East winds 10 to 15 knots. Seas 2 to 3 feet. A slight chance of showers in the late morning and afternoon.

The National Weather Service in Lake Charles has issued a Small Craft Advisory...which is in effect from midnight tonight to noon CST Monday. The gale watch is no longer in effect.

* Winds and seas: north winds 20 to 30 knots with locally higher gusts. Seas 4 to 7 feet.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Small Craft Advisory means that wind speeds of 21 to 33 knots are expected to produce hazardous wave conditions to small craft. Inexperienced mariners...especially those operating smaller vessels should avoid navigating in these conditions.
