Synopsis For Lower Atchafalaya To High Island Tx Out 60 Nm
Southerly winds will continue as high pressure remains over the eastern Gulf. Chances for thunderstorms begin to increase ahead of a cold front Saturday night...ending with the wind shift. Strong northerly winds in the wake of this front early Sunday will diminish to moderate levels and become easterly late Sunday into Monday as high pressure builds into the Mississippi Valley. Moderate southerly winds return late Monday as a western storm system gets organized over the High Plains.
