Synopsis For High Island To Matagorda Ship Channel Out 60 Nm
Winds have become northeasterly as an area of low pressure over the northwestern Gulf of Mexico passes to our southeast. Scattered showers across the offshore waters should taper off during the day on Monday. Winds will shift to the north late Monday afternoon but will remain strong as the pressure gradient tightens in response to the movement of Hurricane Ida towards the northeastern Gulf Coast.
