Synopsis For The Middle Texas Coastal Waters

High pressure across the northern Gulf and low pressure across the Rio Grande will persist through the next several days. This will lead to weak to occasionally moderate onshore flow. Increasing low-level moisture over the weekend and a weak disturbance approaching northern Mexico will contribute to isolated showers and thunderstorms today through Sunday. Upper level high pressure will build again over the region Monday through Wednesday and preclude any significant precipitation.

Today Southeast wind 5 to 10 knots increasing to 10 to 15 knots in the afternoon. Bays slightly choppy to occasionally choppy. Isolated showers and thunderstorms.
Tonight Southeast wind 10 to 15 knots. Bays slightly choppy to occasionally choppy.
Sunday South wind 5 to 10 knots becoming southeast 10 to 15 knots in the afternoon. Bays slightly choppy to occasionally choppy. Isolated showers and thunderstorms.
