Synopsis For The Middle Texas Coastal Waters
Moderate onshore flow will strengthen late this morning as low pressure enters West Texas. This southeast flow will continue through Friday evening and begin to weaken Saturday morning. A cold front with a band of showers and possible thunderstorms will arrive Saturday afternoon and develop a strong to very strong offshore flow with gale force gusts for late Saturday afternoon through Sunday morning before diminishing in the afternoon and Sunday night. Onshore flow will redevelop by Monday afternoon... and increase on Tuesday...as low pressure develops in the Southern Plains.

Southeast wind 20 to 25 knots decreasing to 10 to 15 knots after midnight. Bays choppy to occasionally rough.
Saturday
Southeast wind 10 to 15 knots becoming west 20 to 25 knots in the afternoon. Bays choppy to occasionally rough. Isolated thunderstorms in the morning. A chance of showers. A chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon.

North wind 25 to 30 knots becoming northwest 20 to 25 knots after midnight. Bays rough to occasionally very rough.
Sunday
Northwest wind 15 to 20 knots decreasing to 10 to 15 knots in the afternoon and evening...then becoming west around 5 knots after midnight. Bays choppy.

Northwest wind up to 5 knots shifting southwest in the afternoon...then becoming southeast. Bays smooth.
Tuesday
Southeast wind 10 to 15 knots increasing to 15 to 20 knots in the evening...then decreasing to 10 to 15 knots after midnight. Bays choppy.
