Synopsis For The Middle Texas Coastal Waters
A light easterly wind this evening will become more variable to southerly overnight and through Saturday. Showers and thunderstorms will be possible tonight...with the greatest coverage expected late in the night and through Saturday morning. Winds and seas will be higher near and under thunderstorms. A generally moderate onshore flow will then persist through the remainder of the Labor Day weekend into the middle of next week. Showers and thunderstorms will become more isolated on Monday and Tuesday...before a tropical wave moves into the southwestern Gulf of Mexico and provides sufficient moisture for a better chance for showers and thunderstorms on Wednesday.
