Southeast winds 17 to 22 knots. Seas 5 to 7 feet with occasional seas up to 9 feet. Chance of showers and thunderstorms.
Saturday
Southeast winds 19 to 24 knots becoming south 15 to 20 knots late in the afternoon. Seas 5 to 7 feet with occasional seas up to 9 feet. Chance of showers and thunderstorms.
Saturday Night
Southwest winds 12 to 17 knots becoming west 9 to 14 knots early in the morning. Seas 4 to 7 feet with occasional seas up to 9 feet. Chance of showers and thunderstorms in the evening...then slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after midnight.
Sunday
Southwest winds 8 to 13 knots shifting south 7 to 9 knots late in the afternoon. Seas 3 to 5 feet with occasional seas up to 6 feet.

A Small Craft Advisory remains in effect until 6 PM CST Saturday for the Gulf of Mexico waters east of Padre Island from 0 to 60 nautical miles offshore.

* Winds: southeast at 17 to 25 knots.

* Seas: waves of 5 to 8 feet with occasional seas up to 10 feet.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Small Craft Advisory means that wind speeds of 20 to 33 knots are expected to produce hazardous wave conditions for small craft ...Generally with combined seas of 7 feet or more. Inexperienced mariners... especially those operating smaller vessels should avoid navigating in these conditions.
