high pressure well east of New England will gradually lose its influence on our weather today and tonight. A cold front associated with low pressure moving east from the Great Lakes region will cross the area Tuesday evening. High pressure should then build in for the middle part of the week. Another low and associated frontal boundaries will affect our area Friday into Sunday, followed by more high pressure late Sunday into Monday.

E winds 5 to 10 kt...becoming SW after midnight. Seas 4 to 6 ft...subsiding to 3 to 4 ft late. Mainly in E swell with a dominant period of 9 seconds.

SW winds 5 to 10 kt...becoming S 10 to 15 kt in the afternoon. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Mainly in E swell with a dominant period of 8 seconds. Showers in the afternoon.

SW winds 10 to 15 kt with gusts up to 20 kt... becoming NW 15 to 20 kt with gusts up to 25 kt after midnight. Seas 4 to 6 ft. Mainly in E swell with a dominant period of 8 seconds. Showers early in the evening...then a chance of showers late in the evening.
