Synopsis
Tropcial cyclone Ida will move northward across the eastern Gulf of Mexico today. Ida is forecast to make landfall near Pensacola tonight then become absorbed into an approaching frontal boundary. This front will sweep across the waters Wednesday and produce hazardous boating conditions with increasing winds and seas. For the latest on Ida refer to National Hurricane Center advisories.
