Hurricane Erin will pass by the Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico this weekend, but it will bring heavy rain and the chance of mudslides and flooding to the higher terrain. Bands of rain will also bring wind gusts of 40-plus mph to some spots. The worst of Erin will pass by well to the north of the islands.
