For some reason I did not get a "New Mail" notice for your comment - I was probably fiddling with the SamGal in some hotel in Arizona on the 18th.
One of the best fine woodworkers I know says:
"The difference between a fine woodworker and a carpenter is the size of his discard bin."
jackandcoke: Yes, I suppose the double doors could be curved. I would make a small model from cheap wood first though. I'm having enough trouble getting two 4'x8' doors to meet at an angle of 157.5 degrees.
I know the builder pretty well and he has worked with wood for so long I think he is bored with anything ordinary.

That's a fun-looking little shed. I can appreciate all the extra work involved in all those curves and odd angles. Wouldn't take me long to mess up a project like that.

Although I kind of agree I can't imagine how a builder could make a curved door close. The door panels are each carved out of a single slab though.
