Great photo! Did you know that yawning is contagious? You can make just about any person or animal yawn...if you do so yourself! Please try this next time you have an encounter such as this...and you will make a cat (big or small) yawn! Somewhere I have a photo of a large male Lion yawning...and I had to catch its eyes..and it took six times; but I caught it with my lens!
Thanks for sharing this!

Thanks Gary and Bird, she was alerted by my clicking camera, and gave me the perky look so, I would imagine that she was ready for a nap...since she did not come towards me...dang it...would have loved some action but they were very sleepy. :0)

About tazphotogal

My name is Karen and I love photography. I started with black and white development in high school, and went on to other work, then gained a career in the Coast Guard and gave up my passion of taking pictures when I married and had kids. Now that my kids are in college, I have found that fun again, and I am discovering more and more with digital---much more work than film ever was. Topeka, Kansas gives me some nature, but I love to go West and North to get the wild animals, and costal shots. I enjoy sports photography and people, so I take a lot of pictures now with my Digital Nikon's. I love WU so I can see what great pictures everyone is putting out there. Thanks for the inspiration.
