Thank you Max and Larry!

Larry my bio shot is from Chilkoot Pass which is on the road to Haines, a few hundred miles away. We'd die if we got that much snow in Tok! :)

And that was in MAY after several feet had melted!

Very nice. I always look for that, but don't often see it this intense. Good job. And I was looking at your avatar, WOW! That's a lot of snow!

Very Pretty. I remember hearing that term, but forgot-I'm old-what to call it. I knew it was one of the planets. 10 from SW Iowa and Congrats on the "Blue"

Thank you Peg, Charlotte, Gil and Jim.

It was a soft moment Jim, really special. I took a bunch of shots with the tripod and will be posting a gif probably tomorrow. That will show the changing light as the sun rises and gives the mountains a rosy-orange glow.

Just wishing it was morning already, I would turn out the lights, pure my coffee and watch this one for awhile. Very soft moment

I've lived in Alaska since 1969. I love this wild land. The extremes of the far north shape and affect every living thing. Extremes of weather, elevation, daylight hours, isolation, flora and fauna, nothing in Nature is insignificant.I have a Davis Vantage Pro weather station, uploading to Wunderground, (Turks on the Tundra) the National Weather Service, the Citizen Weather Observation Program and MADIS (Meteorological Assimilation Data Ingest System).
