Yes Ivan I can hear it gurgling under the ice, I was nervous of going out onto the ice because of that. I did see two holes a couple feet across, with water rushing.

Not too long from now it'll be hollow under the ice.

Does it still flow under the ice or is it solid frozen?
Beautiful winter series.

I've lived in Alaska since 1969. I love this wild land. The extremes of the far north shape and affect every living thing. Extremes of weather, elevation, daylight hours, isolation, flora and fauna, nothing in Nature is insignificant.I have a Davis Vantage Pro weather station, uploading to Wunderground, (Turks on the Tundra) the National Weather Service, the Citizen Weather Observation Program and MADIS (Meteorological Assimilation Data Ingest System).
