Oh yes Todd, we do have a couple of those in summer, they pop up like 'seasonal mushrooms' as soon as summer visitors appear! :)

Three places to eat, two places to 'imbibe,' three gas stations, Post Office, school, grocery store, a few government offices, churches, library, and the local Power Company who keep us all 'ticking' warmly!

Thanks for stopping by Wilma and Dave.

No Stop signs - but surely, some places to make a quick stop? A diner? Would love to mosey on down this road, taking my time to enjoy each stop along the way. Thanks for sharing, Katy!

Thanks for stopping by Arlene and John!

Arlene, this about all there is of 'town' other than just out of sight is the grocery store and the Post Office, our two most important 'meeting places.' That's where we have our traffic jams!

Haha John now you mention it, there is no stop sign on 'main street' in Tok! From Dawson Creek to Delta Junction (and not there either!) for 1500 miles.

If you had a stop sign on main street you could have a two car traffic jam.

A wonderful view here Katy. Another Month or so (maybe sooner) we'll be seeing streets like this in NM. Great series.

I've lived in Alaska since 1969. I love this wild land. The extremes of the far north shape and affect every living thing. Extremes of weather, elevation, daylight hours, isolation, flora and fauna, nothing in Nature is insignificant.I have a Davis Vantage Pro weather station, uploading to Wunderground, (Turks on the Tundra) the National Weather Service, the Citizen Weather Observation Program and MADIS (Meteorological Assimilation Data Ingest System).
