Thanks so much for your kind comments!
Chief2318, I have given up trying to outsmart the squirrels. While I'm at work, they have all day to scheme and devise ways to break into the bird feeders! Now I just enjoy watching their antics and fill the feeders more often:) We've declared peace - and my blood pressure is better for it!

Squirrels ruined my bird feeding experience and I will never forgive them. They crawled in the feeder (identical to yours) and stayed for hours...strewing their bodily functions throughout I assumed. After many efforts to thwart them, I finally gave up. Don't you have this problem?
