Thank you all, so very much, for all of the kind words!! Thanks so much to the Approvers, for the AC recognition!! Much appreciated!! His tail was hidden behind a branch. I find these guys in the forest near my home, so fortunately I don't have to deal with their bad side.. =)

I love these sweet chipmunks. I know they can be pests as well but they are so cute. Nice of him to let you get so close. Good closeup and colors.

I spend a bit of time each summer relocating them away from my yard. They are so cute, but I could break an ankle in one of their holes in the lawn. :-)

Such a photogenic critter!
(They don't last long enough to get into pictures in my yard...hmm.)

About gardner48197

8/2015: Greetings from Michigan, where we get quite a wide variety of weather changes throughout the four seasons! Originally I found this site, for the weather, and the photos kept drawing my interest! Decided to get my first digital camera in 2010, and have since upgraded to a Nikon P530. Truly an amazing, eye-opening hobby! This is a great community, so many excellent photographers and friends, so little time! I do read and appreciate every comment and email that I receive! I would like to thank everyone who contributes, for all of the great inspiration and feedback! Sometime down the road I would still like to get a DSLR camera, but for now I just hope to send a small view of life from the Great Lakes State. Home of the University of Michigan Wolverines! Go Blue! -James
