What a spectacular series! We have a pair of sharp shinned hawks who share our country land with us. They ran a big red tail off last week by diving at him and screaming until he flew away. Very cool experience. Your series here is one of the very best I've ever seen. Thanks so much for posting them all.

Hope it wasnt the snow-faced one from yesterday. I miss the brown squirrels from my hometown area of Toledo. The Grey ones out here in Okiehoma are just weird. Agressor loooks like a Broad-Winged Hawk. See the following link: wk/id

About gardner48197

8/2015: Greetings from Michigan, where we get quite a wide variety of weather changes throughout the four seasons! Originally I found this site, for the weather, and the photos kept drawing my interest! Decided to get my first digital camera in 2010, and have since upgraded to a Nikon P530. Truly an amazing, eye-opening hobby! This is a great community, so many excellent photographers and friends, so little time! I do read and appreciate every comment and email that I receive! I would like to thank everyone who contributes, for all of the great inspiration and feedback! Sometime down the road I would still like to get a DSLR camera, but for now I just hope to send a small view of life from the Great Lakes State. Home of the University of Michigan Wolverines! Go Blue! -James
