As Euell Gibbons would say ""Ever eat a pine tree? Many parts are edible."

Anyone remember him and those old Post Grape-Nuts commercials?

Fantastic shot, James. I don't know how you
caught him. Our red breasted nuthatches stay
in the low shrubs and never sit still. Great
shot of the cute, busy bird! Congratulations
on your new Blue!

About gardner48197

gardner48197

8/2015: Greetings from Michigan, where we get quite a wide variety of weather changes throughout the four seasons! Originally I found this site, for the weather, and the photos kept drawing my interest! Decided to get my first digital camera in 2010, and have since upgraded to a Nikon P530. Truly an amazing, eye-opening hobby! This is a great community, so many excellent photographers and friends, so little time! I do read and appreciate every comment and email that I receive! I would like to thank everyone who contributes, for all of the great inspiration and feedback! Sometime down the road I would still like to get a DSLR camera, but for now I just hope to send a small view of life from the Great Lakes State. Home of the University of Michigan Wolverines! Go Blue! -James
