To IndianaJohn, yes, the snow in the foreground does have a greenish cast to it. I had to take it through a car window because it was near 0 degrees and the wind was blowing snow into the car if I put the window down at all. That is why the snow appears green to you. This photo was posted to show the severity of the ice storm here in Maine, not for a perfect composition or lighting, etc. Thank you for noticing.....and allowing me the opportunity to explain.

About deepwoods

Enjoy taking photos in the area of Downeast Maine where I live near the shore with my husband and our dog, Drzl, who is one half greyhound and one half rhodesian ridgeback. I am not a professional, I just shoot what looks cool or interesting to me. Thanks for looking!
