Hermiston, OR (Current Weather Conditions)

Caption: This one seemed to be watching the ducks on the river before it noticed the guy with the camera. I don't know if they'll eat ducks or not. There was a juvenile in the next tree over. I'll post those tomorrow.

Wonderful shot!! Look at those powerful claws! Looking closely I think he has his fingers crossed that duck will be on the take-out menu tonight. :)

About backwardguy

backwardguy

My wife of 42 years and I live in Hermiston OR. on a 5 acre "farmette". I was an elementary school teacher for 29years. I retired at the end of June 2015 and have been working hard ever since!. I enjoy the outdoors and animals and I'm an avid (not a good) golfer. My wife and I take our motorcycles on long trips and our destinations are almost always the beautiful National parks in Oregon, California, Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, Washington, Utah, and last summer we added Arizona to the list. Photography has long been an interest of mine and many of my photos are taken on our little farmette, and on our motorcycle trips.Click for weather forecast
