Caption: Slippers climbed this tree and made her way over to a big ponderosa pine in our yard yesterday. Lured by a chickadee, she got too high and had to be rescued by me. I have climbed my last tree!

Thanks for the visit, Tom. She was too high and was afraid to go down to lower branches. I had to use my roofing ladder to get up to a branch that I could stand on, then climb up from there.

I bet Slipper loves the attention too ... Do you think if you lean a long board/branch on the tree,, she could just walk down herself ... depends how high she is too ...

About backwardguy

My wife of 42 years and I live in Hermiston OR. on a 5 acre "farmette". I was an elementary school teacher for 29years. I retired at the end of June 2015 and have been working hard ever since!. I enjoy the outdoors and animals and I'm an avid (not a good) golfer. My wife and I take our motorcycles on long trips and our destinations are almost always the beautiful National parks in Oregon, California, Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, Washington, Utah, and last summer we added Arizona to the list. Photography has long been an interest of mine and many of my photos are taken on our little farmette, and on our motorcycle trips.Click for weather forecast
