Thanks for showing the BBC footage of the flooded Levels. Why do folk persist in driving though flood waters? I heard that the emergency services are putting flooded house calls before stranded cars where owners haven't listened to police advice to stay out of the water. Hope you all stay safe and dry.

Its at it again in North Wales Dave, looks like its turned round and heading back down again. You can tell its Britain as a flood is not a flood without a tyre or shopping trolley!

About WurzelDave

I'm a 'wurzel' who lives in South West England (UK) in the county of Somerset (next to Devon), famous for scrumpy cider, Cheddar cheese, The Wurzels (well worth going to see) & birth county of 2009 F1 world champion Jenson Button.Like the rest of the West Country, Somerset has many areas, places & landscapes worth a visit such as Glastonbury Tor & Abbey ruins, Quantock hills, West Somerset Railway, Cheddar Gorge, & Exmoor, to name but a very few.Favourite holiday destiations are Iceland (see alot of photos) & the Icehotel in Jukkasjarvi Sweden (also see photos). Still a lover of the flim camera, my first camera was an Halina 110 camera which you could buy flip flashes for! I have a Canon 3000V SLR film camera, also have some TLR cameras from the 1950's plus Canon powershot A3300, SX150 & SX40 digital cameras which are useful for close up macro shots & also makes film 'last' longer! I also have a variety of film cameras (35mm, stereo, 110, 120 format) dating from 1940 upwards. Photos from these cameras will appear here from time to time
