Not a Phone Booth

Danville, VA (Current Weather Conditions)

Caption: This is not a phone booth but is a library instead. This one is by the Danville Science Center but they are all over town and of different designs. Danville started this Little Free Library idea this year. You just take a book you would like to read. Of course, folks are encouraged to put a book in when they take one out but not required. I have seen photos in the paper and on web but this is the first one I have actually seen.

Evidently not. This week has been a good test.
Will check on them when I go over. With all of
this rain, the inside of my birdhouse has not
gotten wet....a dry home for the baby birds.
So hopefully a dry home for the books. Thanks.

What a clever idea....still wonder if they wouldn't get wet in a heavy rain.
