Caption: Two youngsters were trying to feed him when we drove up. The sound of the van got him excited and he ran over to me. I showed them his sore beak and he didn't want a hard cracker when bread was soft. Gave them bread to give him. We then drove off to the other side of the large pond to do sunset shots. Next thing I know, there's that familiar quack and he's under foot all the while I'm trying to take pix. I hope someone wants a nice pet duck and takes him home before I step on him.

About Nikongranny

Nikongranny

Old, retired with lots of time on my hands and a Nikon. Lucky for me, there is a park just north of town that provides me with migrating birds and sunsets. Since joining this site, I have a new appreciation for this scenic world we live in. I especially love the comments from so many great people on here.
