Brilliant yellows- gorgeous contrast to the dark evergreens and the beautiful blue sky with its lovely wisps of cirrus clouds !

If you like this series, I have about 12 others that are from the previous day that I took along the Tumwater Canyon on a day trip to Leavenworth. It was as interesting trip, the Nepeequa river is fed from glaciers in the mountains that you can see the snow on. It feeds into the White River, the white river feeds Lake Wenatchee. The Wenatchee River comes out of Lake Wenatchee, eventually emptying into the Columbia. I managed to capture portions of all these bodies of water on this trip! Just missing the Pacific Ocean to get the full path.
