Leaning Tree

Delta, CO (Current Weather Conditions)

Caption: I don't know why this tree leans so much. The winds are usually from the other direction and there are no other trees crowding it. Just likes to lean, I guess. This is where Roubideaux Creek comes in, and after a few curves, joins the Gunnison River. The water is muddy, as when the snow melts the rivers run fast an carry a lot of dirt with them, so they all look muddy in Spring.

I'm guessing high water floods? Pretty close to the bank of the river.

Thanks, Gil! Just doesn't look that old to me,
but I've never been good at guessing the age of
anything, including people!

Maybe just a tired old tree and wanting to rest.
Great shot.
