Caption: The plum tree has opened a few blossoms against a blue October sky. That happens a lot when cooler fall air tricks the trees into reacting as if it were spring.

"Odd but intriguing" is a good way to describe it, Wilma! Doesn't seem right to have spring blossoms in fall. Thanks for your comment!

Sure does look bright and cheerful, though, Kathy. We had apples blossoms last October, too, after our first heavy frost. Odd, but always very intriguing to see.

Very nice, Kathy. The blue background complements the blossoms beautifully.

Thanks, Mary; it's always a bit startling to see spring flowers this time of year.

Oh hello, Rodney, you slipped in while I was typing! Thank you for your comment!
