Thanks, Helen! I got inspired to go there not only by the turning of the leaves, but by the fact that a friend who isn't as "into" photography as I am, went there the day before and took a spectacular shot of the sunset on his way home from work, while I at my house had such a drab sunset it wasn't worth shooting. The next day (Tuesday) I could see it was shaping up for a good sunset, so I decided to follow my friend's footsteps and beat him at his own game.

This was a real beauty, Kathy. Wish I could have found a nice perch for a sunset photo in the mountains but I didn't know the area well enough. I'll just have to enjoy yours. :)
