Great shots! I have never personally seen a Cottonmouth in the woods. It's a nasty looking snake.

Thanks Betsy for the comment. We have several poisonous snakes in Arkansas, Copperhead, Rattlesnake, Coral, and of course the Cottonmouth which is what we have more of here in the bottomlands.

That's one thing we don't have to worry about here in the East. We can wander outdoors without fear. (Although I read that feral pigs are becoming an increasing problem.)
