Toledo, WA (Current Weather Conditions)

Caption: Band-Tailed Pigeons in the rain. (At least I think that's what they are.) Four of these birds have moved into the area. I have lived here for 10 years and I have not seen them here before. Welcome to the neighborhood!

This is a great pic!  I'm shocked it didn't get more votes.  I just love it with the capture of the raindrops and can almost hear their coos.  Very soft scene.

Shaz: Between them and the grossbeaks, I've had to refill my black oil sunflower feeder every day -- only because I refuse to refill it more often!

yep Band-Tailed Pigeons is what they are.
I had a few arrive at my feeders in 06 and now I have 2-3 dozen every day LOL Wish they would INVADE another yard. My ground feeder doesn't stay full very long once the pigeons arrive. None of the other birds have a chance.
