Isn't she though...and thank you. She was a stray, already fixed, and I fed her outside for a year through snow, ice and lots of rain before my last California cat died. I didn't want to upset my old lady.

Two days after Angie died, I invited Rose inside and she walked in and made herself at home. She's a sweet lady, but has been taking her own sweet time about giving back affection.

She walked in today and Dutchie was right at the foot of the stairs; Rose and Dutchie walked towards one another and smelled each other's breath, then Rose calmly walked past Dutchie and went upstairs where she prefers to sleep on a dog bed in a chair....very plush.

About osdianna

Born Oceanside, Ca. (Camp Pendelton actually, Navy hospital on the Marine base)in 1945. Lived all my life in California until 1998 when my dad dies and I moved to the Pacific NW to be closer to my ailing mother. I liked it so much I stayed, couldn't afford to go back anyway. I love it here but I miss real dirt (I have lots of sand), my roses, and the heat required to grow tomatoes. I walk the beach every day, rain or shine...well most days...with my trusty yellow lab Maggie.Favorite Quote: There is no such thing as bad weather, only inappropriate clothing. I am a birder, a Master Gardener, and a volunteer. Life is good.
