Thought this might be 'cow races' or something! LOL It looks like they are running around some kind of track.

Cool shot and series Betsy. Our cows wouldn't have a clue about staying inside as we rarely get temps that cold. I really like this series, it makes me smile :)

I guess I may be jaded by growing up on a dairy farm, but I never imagined a crowd gathered to see cows come out of a barn...:)
I think I'll go back into farming so I can charge admition to the onlookers. Even in the cold of Northern NY near the Canadian border, we always turned the cows out all winter for at least an hour while we did the daily barn cleaning. They'd still kick their heels up when they enjoyed that first really warm day.

A great slice of life shot Betsy! We have a dairy farm just down the road here in NC and the girls are so fun. Look at this cow's eyes! She is giving you 'the look' as she races by!

About luvne32

Thousands of tired, nerve-shaken, over-civilized people are beginning to find out that going to the mountains is going home; that wilderness is a necessity; and that mountain parks and reservations are useful not only as fountains of timber and irrigating rivers, but as FOUNTAINS OF LIFE. ------ John Muir
