Keith, A few of these animals carry a transmitter on them (Collar), and don't know what info there is on the Ear Tag.
The BLM keeps track of where they are. I think the Fish & Game dept does also. With all the photos I send to our Friend, Wild Life Biologist at the BLM, and she tells me that she also shares them with the F&G department. So I think with the Transmitter & my photos, they have a good knwoledge of where they are. They are very appreciative of my photos of the animals and the Eagles & other Birds.
