Thank you ladies! I was in the right spot at the right time. He sat and sat and sat for my photos. Really cooperative creature. I have a special bond with this dove as his partner, sadly, is the one that was captured by the hawk and killed.

Did you pay him to pose for you? That is such a neat pose and only a dove could get itself in such a spot....they try to get in the smallest birdfeeders if they can. Great shot!
