Caption: The lightning storm we had July 7 had a bolt that hit a 100-foot high black cherry tree. Some of the bark blasted off from the tree was left hanging from a power line. The heat from the bolt caused the water in the tree to boil and turn to stream, blasting off a strip of wood 4
