Shenandoah, IA (Current Weather Conditions)

Caption: Painted Lady, and Pearly Crescent on Butterfly Bush. Another very warm and very breezy day out at the pond. Pleasant as long as there was a breeze. The butterfly season has gotten underway,,rather late in the summer, but it often happens this way, especially after a mostly cool season, and now warmed up quite a bit!

Nice, Mindie. You managed to get them on a pretty flower and didn't get any of the dead plants in it. 10 from your friend and co-owner of black duck! LOL

About BEME

BEME

Hi KIDDIES!!! O.K.,,there seems to be a bit of confusion about this photo,,,I AM on the left,,a gal!![MINDI],,and the right-hand pic is of BOB my hubby!! I cloned the two images together,,of us taking pics of each other,,so we could give you folks an idea of who we are,,replacing the previous photo of our two favorite eagle family youngsters...We live in Shenandoah,Ia.,,and enjoy [especially me] taking lots of pictures!! I do most of the posting on here,,that's MY thing..and I try to put up Bobs when he takes some good ones...I would also like for you to check out the older ones from time,to time,,I like to share my images,,though not always the greatest,,just to give you an idea what life is sometimes like here in S.W. Iowa.. I came out here from the East Coast and interior New England, where I lived until 1992,,I also lived in Philly for a few years, and Bob is born and raised here in Shenandoah.,,but loves other places that we have visited too. I am happy to have found this site to learn how to take better photos,,meet new people, and make new friends, and be dazzled by what folks share of their 'world'in pictures on here. THANK YOU WuNDERGROUND! I appreciate all your kind words and mail, and critique as much as I enjoy giving back in kind! SHARE THE LOVE!!
