Congratulations on your first AC. The AC award is given to exceptional photos. Please make sure the dates are correct as they should not be older than 7 days to appear in the current gallery. It is OK to upload old photos, just don't show them with the current date.

About summer69

summer69

I'm Randy, at home in central Texas. I've been fascinated by photographs...forever, but terrified of photography until, in the 70's, a friend and co-worker took time to explain how the jumble of numbers on the dials and meters all worked together. My first good camera was a Minolta SRT-201. I'm still saddened with the demise of film, but now, I can't imagine shooting without digital.I keep a notebook by the computer to keep suggestions for places to visit, names of unusual clouds and weather phenomena ...just because of the amazing photos and comments from the WU family.
