Swift Storm

Friday June 22, 2012

Poughkeepsie, NY (Current Weather Conditions)

Caption: It was an errand afternoon, but as the skies got darker, and the wind whipped up, we went to the top (6th) story of the parking garage for a view across the river, and top of the Mid-Hudson Bridge. A lot of wind, lightning, thunder, and rain. Waited out the storm one parking level down. A virtual waterfall ran off the slate roof of the former Poughkeepsie Journal building. Kids didn't want me out of the car though, so no shot. Not a rainbow on right, windows closed 4 kids, so glare.
