Unbelievable photo! The Blue Angels practice in Pensacola..we plan on going there at the end of the month to watch them practice..it's free. The Naval museum there is fantastic! An incredible bunch of pilots, to say the least!

Beautiful shot. I have flown in a number of airshows myself and year in and year out the Blue Angel pilots and ground crews were a great bunch of folks.

Years ago when I lived in Fairfiled Ca, I was @ 1 mile from Travis AFB, one morning I heard the BA's out flying, preparing for a show, I went out back to of my condo onto the big open common area, and watched them. I was wearing a bright red lounger , standing on a green lawn, jumping, waving my arms at them, and just loving the show. They kept circling, I was in the middle of their flight pass.I kept waving, they were sooooo fast, how could they possibly see me?
Then they came straight over me, the lead jet tipped his wings and poofed a small bit of smoke right over the top of me. WOW! WOW! WOW! They HAD seen me, It was something I will never ever forget.
