Yow! You have really gotten a lot more and
wind just makes it so much worse! Bundle up
and stay warm and dry, Norman! I got a break today,
with temps in the 40's and sunshine, and the
weekend will be warmer, so we will lose most of
ours then (not in the mountains, though). On the
other hand, there is snow in our forecast for
Monday and Tuesday. Somehow it seems worse with
the warm weather in between.
On a lighter note, Congratulations on your AC
for this beautiful, snowy scene. I hope the
deer can find something to eat! I always worry
about the critters and the birds.

I'm not from the UP, but I got here as soon as I could ! Locating from Plymouth MI to Calumet MI (as of Dec 1st, 2009) is the most exciting thing to happen in a long time. It's been a lifelong dream and it was worth all the work that it took to get here. The weather here is fascinating and I'm sure it will only get more exciting as we settle in.
