Thank you Betsy and Love2shoot for your kind comments and also Peter. Yes Peter this is a municipal park they always have a good show of wild flowers at the side of the little railway track . Many years ago a miniature train used to run around the "acre" but sadly is no longer there, You can see the remains of the track in this shot. Golden acre used to have an open air swimming pool too which I remember well.

Is this a municipal park? Wild flower planting is all the craze just now as concern grows for our pollinators. In the early 70's I worked laying out carpet bedding and the wild areas now are a less labour intensive alternative. Great work and a lovely photo.
