Caption: Eastern shores of Willamette River seen from 'Pill Hill'. Portland is sometimes nicknamed 'Bridgetown' because of it's many bridges. 11 of them cross the Willamette that divides Portland east and west. The bridges seen in this picture are Hawthorne and Morrison bridges, built 1910 and 1958.
