I've lived in Alaska since 1969. I love this wild land. The extremes of the far north shape and affect every living thing. Extremes of weather, elevation, daylight hours, isolation, flora and fauna, nothing in Nature is insignificant.I have a Davis Vantage Pro weather station, uploading to Wunderground, (Turks on the Tundra) the National Weather Service, the Citizen Weather Observation Program and MADIS (Meteorological Assimilation Data Ingest System). Caption: Mostly unseen world, tiny and crowded with detail. Plates were not clean and sharp, but had some 'graupel' crusting on them. Ya just never know what you're gonna get.
Background is a plate of glass with a tie-dye t-shirt under it.
