SuperCooled

Tok, AK (Current Weather Conditions)

Caption: Pure, clean and c-c-cold waters of Yerrick Crick, it's purity aids in supercooling below the freezing point. Winter weather is on it's way, beyond those mountains.

The sun did not rise above the Cathedral Mountains.... guess winter is here.

*Winter* IS far & away my most favorite of them all even though each time has its magical beauty in Alaska! A run out to Tok is one of my favs as well as Thompson Pass the GRAND or up the Richardson to Delta and Beyond! Almost ten years in Alaska now and these years have been the ^BEST^! Love Alaska...

About katy99780

katy99780

I've lived in Alaska since 1969. I love this wild land. The extremes of the far north shape and affect every living thing. Extremes of weather, elevation, daylight hours, isolation, flora and fauna, nothing in Nature is insignificant.I have a Davis Vantage Pro weather station, uploading to Wunderground, (Turks on the Tundra) the National Weather Service, the Citizen Weather Observation Program and MADIS (Meteorological Assimilation Data Ingest System). "May you have warmth in your igloo, oil in your lamp, and peace in your heart." ~ Indigenous Arctic Proverb
