Dutch Harbor, AK (Current Weather Conditions)

Caption: FAR RIGHT CENTER Xiang Rui Kou is semi-submersed and waiting for a rider. Nanuq is just below Kulluk escorting. Picture taken from my porch where I will have a great view, assuming the action takes place where it appears. If so, a road by the water will offer even better views. I am off today so it will be easy to observe.

You'd never guess there was so much boat hidden! I'm surprised that tramper hasn't been asked to move a bit further out of the way, this perspective may be fooling me, but we all know the Kulluk has a mind of her own in terms of where she drifts to!
Can't wait to see her lifted up - could be a late night for me keeping up with all the goings on...
