Living in San Diego it's hard to imagine what you're photographing. Your snow pictures really capture the cold, ice, and snow. We're freezing here too with a rain front moving
through and a high temp. of only 58 degrees. Seriously, people here complain when the high is less than 65 or so.

We'll be visiting Toronto for 10 days in May to catch the blooms, beautiful parks, bird migration, and Niagara. Look forward to the trip, and the hopefully much better weather than you're chronicling.

Thanks for the comment! I'm glad there was lots of snow, and that the road was slippery. This forced me to stop, and look down before I crossed the road....and after taking a closer look at this photo, I think its a Jupiter rug :-)
