CalicoBass, if I'm not mistaken, they are suppose to strap themselves securely to the tree so they don't 'fall out of it'. And if I were this hunter, with all those First Responders, I'd have been One Truly Embarassed Guy (or Gal whichever this case may be).

When I saw all the rescue, I thought bad accident until I read your caption. Hope the hunter was okay. Hubby fell out his his climbing deer stand once, backwards. But he caught himself by his feet. He was hanging upside down like a bat, lol. Lucky for him, he was able to get upright. They all need some type of safety harness in case that happens.
