The Alachua Conservation Trust presented a Tin Can Tourist Rally featuring vintage trailers and motor coaches. The benefit harkens back to the 1920s through 1940s when Gainesville, Archer and other Florida towns operated Tin Can Tourist Camps, offering travelers inexpensive places to park their travel trailers.
