This is a great shot of a Wunderful group! It was so much fun. Thank you for all of the sweet comments on my pics. Very encouraging. It was so nice to meet you and Durward. I've enjoyed y'all's photos for so long and it's just super to meet the "heart and soul" of those pics. I do hope others are inspired to hold meet-ups, too.

So glad we could share the experience with the entire wu community. I have heard a lot of talk about having meet ups in other parts of the country. I can't wait. Hopefully seeing the people and the photos will inspire others to start photography weekends in their area. I know Durward and I would attend if possible!

About dixiedaughter

dixiedaughter

Hello, my name is Leslie. I borrowed my handle from my Tennessee Walking horse, Dixie's Daughter. I am a retired respiratory therapist and home care director. My interests include photography, genealogy, historical societies, reenacting (Revolutionary War, WBTS) horse rescue, and paranormal investigating. I am also a big believer in karma and try to live my life accordingly. My husband (AUphoto) and I have two houses, one is a country house on a farm and the other is on the outskirts of Wetumpka on Lake Jordan in Titus, AL (we recently moved from Lake Cameron in Pike Road). I enjoy this site very much and love traveling around the World with you each day to amazing places. I appreciate you looking at my photographs and I appreciate you posting yours. Answer to most common question is I only shoot one lens for everything: Canon 18-200 mm. ©Leslie Kirk, 2017 with Southern Comfort Photography, ALL RIGHTS RESERVED, Titus, Alabama
